Many years ago [about 30] [[[60 Minutes]]] did an episode about the number of kidnappings that happen daily in Mexico.
IIRC ..the number was 50
In response to the demand for bullet proof cars with solid rubber tires, 1 inch thick glass, and an electrically charged force field that surrounds the car's body...there was a company in Mexico that converted SUVs into such gangster proof machines.
The company had more orders than what they could fill quickly.
